Electronics Recycling
NEW this year! Electronics Recycling
Where Does it Go?
You've done the right thing. You've brought your used electronic equipment in for recycling rather than throwing it in the trash or a landfill. To reassure you that you made the right decision, we want you to know what will now happen to this equipment.
Sims Recycling Solutions will remove batteries, toner, ink cartridges and other hazardous components and then shred the equipment in our state-of-the-art shredding system.
Our shredding process reduces your equipment to pieces the size of a quarter and separates those pieces mechanically into metals, plastic and glass.
This raw material is then sent for reuse where it will be made into new products for the future. We take pride in the fact that everything is recycled, everything is reused and nothing enters a landfill.
Offer to Rolling on the River participants, staff and volunteers:

- Don't want to add to the landfill?
- Concerned about the security of disposing of your computer?
