Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have great prizes and awards that we hope will encourage participants to aim higher in their fundraising goals. Our Rolling River Ride registration kick off party was a blast. We invited folks that we had already approached about the idea joining our team for the RRR and had our computer set up in the living room so people could register "in the moment."

Our team was then able to get a beautiful shot for our fundraising webpage. Of course, great food and drink was had by all. It's just another fun time connected to the RRR that we hope to continue throughout the years to come. - Becky and Stephen, 2007 "Greenest Team" winners.

How to Fundraise

Fundraising for Rolling on the River is quick and easy. When you register online with Active.com, you will be given access to these fundraising tools:

Personalized fundraising webpage
- Upload photos or business/team logo
- Write a personal message about why you’re involved with Rolling on the River
- Share the link to your Rolling on the River fundraising page with family, friends, colleagues, myspace or other groups
- They can donate directly to the event through your page…or join your team!
- Team captains will be notified automatically when someone joins your team, or donates to it.
- Team Center tracks donations, donors and team members for you—log on through active.com and see at a glance what has been raised.
- No need to collect or handle money if you use online tools.
Use Active.com’s evite tool to invite friends, family and others to view your webpage and the www.RollingRiverRide.org website
Add this link to the signature of your email saying "Help me protect and improve Illinois’ environment. Visit www.RollingRiverRide.org"
Collect checks and submit by mail. Simply summarize the donations you're sending on our one-page Donation Summary Form and mail with the checks to IECEF.

TWO WAYS TO EARN A FREE BOOTH

Create a Rolling on the River team for your organization. Pledge to raise $1000 or more and we will provide a free booth at our environmental expo. If you don't reach your $1000 goal the $50 booth fee will simply be deducted from what you raise.
Create and run a fun eco-activity that engages kids and/or adults during the expo (12 to 5pm) and we will waive the booth fee for your organization.

GREEN TEAM

If your organization raises $1000 or more the captain will receive a free 2008 jersey and be invited to the pre-event party on August 15 as part of our green team.

FUNDRAISING OFFER

We are happy to share the benefit of this event with your nonprofit organization or educational group. We will handle all the details of planning and logistics. You simply register, form a team and use our fun event to fundraise for your organization. We split the proceeds your team raises (after minimum required donations) 50/50.
