Join the Green Team - - Make a Difference
We invite you to join the Rolling on the River Green Team. It is the networking group for volunteers who want to improve and protect Illinois' environment. All it takes to be a member of this fun group is a desire to make a difference and a pledge to raise or donate $1000 or more. We need you! No fundraising experience necessary. All the tools you need to raise funds are online - - you handle no money!
As a reward for fundraising at this level, Green Team members will receive:
- Rolling on the River Green Team Jersey
- Invitation to Friday's (Aug 15th) private, pre-event party for our fundraisers and sponsors at the Homestead Bed and Breakfast
- Organic cotton goodie bag from Chipotle
- Surprise gift

My company, WRD Environmental, had a great time at Rolling on the River last year. We sponsored the event's jerseys, fundraised and had a blast riding in the event.
The ride was a fantastic way to enjoy the beauty of biking the Fox River valley and surrounding farmlands while also helping to support environmental stewardship and education here in Illinois.
This is a great cause and a fun event - complete with live music, food and drink, great rest stops, expo, and optional activities you can add on like camping, canoeing and kayaking.
What makes this event so special are the people involved and the friendships you make. It is a pleasure to chair the Green Team this year and be even more involved.
I invite you to get a group of friends, family, or work associates together, form a riding team and set a goal that is $1000 or more so you can be part of our Green Team and really make a difference. We had 47 teams in 2007.
We'd like to have 75 this year! For companies looking for a great team building event, Rolling on the River is perfect. We had a great time last year and look forward to more of the same on August 16th.
So, whether you are an individual who cares about the environment or a corporate team, I hope you will join me in making the environment a priority in 2008. We'd love to have you on our Green Team!
